About Planetary Cycles

Established in 1994, our journey began in a modest 1100 square foot location on N. Braeswood.

Throughout the years, two constants remain unchanged: the unwavering support from our community and our commitment to enhancing the cycling experience for all riders. We are determined to preserve the welcoming ambiance that sets us apart, even if it may seem a bit unconventional!

Thank you and we look forward to seeing you!

Greater Houston Off Road Cycling Association

GHORBA was established in September 1999 through the collaboration of the Houston Area Mountain Bike Riders Association (HAMBRA) and the Memorial Park Mountain Bike Association (MPMBA) with the goal of preserving the trails in Memorial Park for cyclists. Since then, GHORBA has broadened its focus to include numerous mountain bike trails across the Houston Area. As a non-profit 501c(3) corporation, GHORBA sustains its activities through membership fees, hosting TMBRA series mountain bike races, as well as securing grants and contributions from cycling and corporate sponsors.
